Terms and Conditions

1. Program Description

Vanguard Safety Alerts is an SMS and email notification program operated by The Vanguard Company ("Vanguard," "we," "us," or "our"). The program delivers safety alerts, emergency notifications, and operational updates to verified employees and authorized personnel. Messages may include severe weather warnings, workplace safety advisories, emergency evacuation notices, job site hazard alerts, and operational schedule changes.

2. Eligibility

Vanguard Safety Alerts is a service available exclusively to verified employees and authorized personnel of The Vanguard Company and its subsidiaries, including OESCO, Infosys, and AtlasPower. Enrollment is managed by your organization's administrator. By participating in this program, you confirm that you are an authorized recipient of these communications.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on safety conditions and operational needs. During normal operations, you may receive a limited number of messages per week. During emergencies or severe weather events, message frequency may increase significantly to ensure your safety. There is no fixed maximum number of messages.

4. Message and Data Rates

Standard message and data rates may apply to SMS messages depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Please check with your wireless carrier for details about your messaging plan. Vanguard is not responsible for any charges incurred from receiving text messages.

5. How to Opt Out

You may opt out of Vanguard Safety Alerts at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive. You will receive a one-time confirmation message acknowledging your opt-out request. After opting out, you will no longer receive SMS messages from this program.

You can re-enroll at any time by contacting your organization's administrator or updating your preferences in the Arc platform.

6. How to Get Help

If you need assistance, reply HELP to any message to receive support information. You can also contact us directly at safety@okvanguard.com for questions about the program, your enrollment status, or technical issues.

7. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. For details on how we collect, use, and protect your personal information, please review our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

8. Service Availability

We strive to ensure reliable and timely delivery of all safety alerts and notifications. However, message delivery is dependent on wireless carrier networks and other factors outside of our control. We cannot guarantee delivery of every message, and carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. In the event of a service disruption, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate through alternative channels.

9. Acceptable Use

The Arc platform and Vanguard Safety Alerts are provided for authorized business purposes only. You agree not to misuse the platform, interfere with its operation, or use it for any unauthorized, unlawful, or harmful purpose. Violation of this policy may result in suspension or termination of your access.

10. Modifications

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our services, practices, or legal requirements. When we make changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the platform or participation in the SMS program after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
